努力過後
惹人討厭的公司高層Ikenna總喜歡在星期二到訪。今天上班時跟洪都拉斯人Farouk討論起這個問題，我認定Ikenna不會來訪，因為上星期二已經來過一遍，住在Cork 的他應該不會長途拔踄連續兩個星期過來Dublin吧；Farouk則持相反意見，認為Ikenna會來巡。
Farouk Win。原以為可以過一個輕鬆的星期二，不料在工作忙碌的時候，身旁突然出現一位高大的黑人，是我們的Head of Operation Ikenna。
店裡的所有經理和員工都變得小心奕奕，依足規距辦事。工作效率低是低了一些，不過整天都沒有被Ikenna抓到任何錯處。每次黑人來訪，店裡所有員工都不得小休；我和Farouk等開店員工，上班了七個小時後才能吃點東西，肚子都已經餓扁了。有一段時間黑人到上層辦公，經理Robin和Faizal讓我先吃一個漢堡撐著，可惜我把漢堡弄好後黑人又回到樓下，得即時把漢堡往垃圾桶丟去，繼續捱渴捱餓。黑人在店裡逗留了兩個小時，聽說他對店裡的狀況感到很滿意，大伙兒都鬆了一口氣。
連續工作了六天，共五十三個小時，對工作上的事情開始有點厭惡的感覺。幸運的是，終於等到芬蘭之旅的來臨。這刻的感覺，是辛勞過後，準備享樂的興奮心情。
老媽叮囑不要吃太多薯條，可是實在沒有其他選擇。

hello, my name is joanna, i m planning to come to ireland this year, will submit my application to the consulate at the end of march, could u pls give me some advice? when u applied for the visa last year, when did u submit the application? and what was ur proposed date of entry to ireland? i m asking because the consulate staff say that the two dates cannot be too far away, the staff said usually the maximum gap is 3 months in between, for example, if i submit my application in early april, then i better write early july as my proposed date of entry, otherwise they may not even accept my application. could u pls tell me about ur date of application and proposed date of entry? also, when was ur insurance effective? my agent said if i buy now, the effective date will be early May but i won't be going to ireland until July earliest, so i will only have 10 months' insurance, do u think the consulate will decline my application if i don't hv a full year insurance? pls give me some advice. thank you in advance for ur help.

I submit my application in mid-may, and the visa start at 29June. My insurance also valid from 19June.
You only need a half-year insurance for the application. For another half year, you can purchase it later in Ireland.

好苦惱...現在領事館的制度,好像不停在變呢~
在insurance的那方面,聽說改了不只是半年就可以。
現在,雖然預約了3月尾申請,但也很擔心會否成功申請到。

ReplyDelete原來如此, 如果保險改成半年以上，相信會對申請者構成一定程度的麻煩呢，因為市面大部份的旅遊保險都只提供最長半年的保障。
